Some recruiters may reach out claiming to have the perfect role for you, but a closer look often at the person asking often reveals inconsistencies in their profiles or employment history that shows they are not representing the company they claim to be.
2. Avoid Mid-Thread Replies: Watch out for offers disguised as mid-thread replies in your conversations. If someone claims they couldn't message you directly and offers you a job opportunity, it’s most likely a red flag. Reputable recruiters usually have LinkedIn Pro for direct communication or a similar method to reach you.
3. Look at the domain: Remember, genuine recruiters typically use professional platforms like LinkedIn InMail and official email domains, not Gmail addresses.
